Outdated Client #3
Comments
Or is it already capable, but I am missing a configuration step? |
I use a library called mineflayer to make this bot work. They only support up to 1.8 and to the best of my understanding the lead developer has not been able to work on it. I will update this as soon as that supports it. |
Ahh! I wondered about that. I will go pester them as well then :) Thank you! |
mineflayer just recently updated so they now support 1.8-1.11 clients. It would be amazing to see this bot in action again! It was my favorite one back in the day and I would love to use it again. |
Hello! Glad to hear to enjoyed it. I have actually been working on a web based version that will be easier to use and have much more functionality that uses the updated mineflayer. It should be out soon. If you want early access email me at [email protected]. I'll also update this older one, as it only takes a moment. Edit: |
I email you about the web version. |
Many of the servers that I wish to use this with are running 1.10.x, and this seems to be an issue with the bot client being able to connect. Is there any plans on updating Cheese-Bot to the newer client libraries. If so, what is the expected timeline?
