Combine two entities.

Hi, i didn't find information if we can combine information from two and more entities. I wanted to do new formula gas_consumption*gas_price where one is counter and second input_number.

This isn't a question limitied to HA it applies to everywhere in HA that you want to do some math. You need to use a template sensor:

   - sensor:  
      - unique_id: "gas_total_cost" 
        name: "Gas Total Cost"
        unit_of_measurement: 'Kč'

          {{ states('sensor.gas_consumption') | float(0) * states('sensor.gas_price') | float(0) }}

Hi, thank you for respond. I did it already similar way. Helper as input_number + updating using node-red. More complicated but i wil keep it.
I was just curious if floorplanner doesn't have infrastructure which could do this. It looks like i will need change it in future anyway (store computation in db and then get data from it).

I was imaging that floorplanner could have call service call serialized and then it could store result one by one in array and i could accessing these values using index or name....
Something like

   entity1
   entity2
   ....
   service_data: 
          ${(entity[0].state / 100).toFixed(2)} m³ ${((entity[0].state *
          entity[1].state)/1000).toFixed(2)}Kc

Now i will need add new text box to cover ${((entity[0].state * entity[1].state)/1000).toFixed(2)}Kc with calling to template sensor.

This could simplify life, but if you think that this is bad workaraound just ignore me ;) THank you and have a nice day.

Have a look at the FUNCTIONS capability https://experiencelovelace.github.io/ha-floorplan/docs/usage/ I don't use it myself so not sure if this will help you or not?
