FDK-AAC clips frequency above 17kHz by default, but it can be increased to 20kHz by using -w, --bandwidth 20000
It would be great if this option is exposed.

This project has been deprecated. #154

I would try adding support for this on PipeWire if this feature is achievable on A2DP.
