It seems to be placing fragment definitions in the middle of selection sets in the resulting query, which I believe is not valid.
How is it supposed to work normally?

After further investigation it seems it expects you to use the fraql library... Should probably mention that somewhere?

Because if you just use graphql-tag or urql's gql functions, the fragment will not get converted to InlineFragment nodes.
