Layout deserialization selects the wrong document #307

Hello,
it seems that the wrong document is selected during the layout deserialization. The last document of the list will be selected instead of the last selected document. It works until Version 4.50.2. It seems that this problem was added in Version 4.50.3.

I guess the reason could be this changes #163
