API and GUI feature to show outdated libraries in a project

Hi all,

I'd like to ask for a new feature of DT:

Outdated libraries are shown today in the component list and the dependency graph. That's nice but we can't process this knowledge further. How about an API call "Show me all outdated libraries of a project with / of all projects"? The answer shall contain identifying data of the library, the installed version and the latest version.

The GUI might be enhanced by a metric showing the fraction of outdated libraries in the selected project and in all projects at the dashboard. An API call might be added to hand out that numbers too.

The software development guys have tools to show outdated libraries. The information security management don't has them. It would add value to CISO office if he can monitor the numbers and set pressure to projects failing to use latest components.

What dou you think about it?
