Overview
What CFP is all about:
The basic approach is to make more new users aware of the Defichain project online and in "real live" through special Defichain giveaways in social media (currently only Twitter).
This should take place through unique and original GaS, which are of high quality and "presentable".
For this purpose, I created the Twitter acc DefichainGaS in September, which currently has 120 followers. As some people know, a wooden stand and 21 key rings have already been raffled off and sent to the lucky winners.
(Thanks at this point to everyone who used the "buy me a coffee" feature to support me a little).
The response has been good as you can see by the number of followers and it is being well received by people in my opinion.
Various original gifts were raffled off even before this first major giveaway (see video on YT link below).
The aim is to make people curious through such GaS, which the lucky winners wear in everyday life, simply use or presentatively have on their key ring at the table ;-) people become curious and, in the best case, invest.
The CFP does not aim to make a profit; it is meant to give existing users the opportunity to identify with Defichain a bit more (and give them a treat) AND to attract new users and followers.
To date, I have invested a total of about €700 (~350 DFi) in my project "DefichainGaS".
Originally, a new logo was supposed to be created for the project, but since my first CFP (at that time still called "promotion tools") was rejected, I decided to wait for the outcome of this round of voting, since the costs for this are around €150 - €250 (got already some offers) There are also new GaS in the works/already finished but still top secret ;-)
Here is an illustration of what the gifts raffled so far cost:

As the cost of each giveaway varies it is difficult to define a fixed amount per GA, but you can see above that it is not free.
How long should the CFP last? -> As mentioned it is difficult to estimate how much each GA will cost; it will always have to be between 15 - 40 DFi. I have been doing this for quite a while and am always in constant contact with other members of the community to keep it professional.
How will the fund be spent?
For this CFP I have decided to ask for 1,500 DFi. Of the 1,500 DFi, 1,200 will be frozen for 10 years; the giveaways will be funded from the staking reward achieved.
The remaining 300 DFi will be used to cover the € expense already incurred and to fund the GaS coming soon.
The staking rewards at 1,200 DFi are currently 18 DFi/week including freezer.
It is calculated with 1,200 DFi for 10 years, as the staking - APY is constantly decreasing and I also have to bear the exchange rate risk.
