Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

It's hard to get real world data on things such as response time and how the application behaves under real-world loads.

Describe the solution you'd like

A way to publish metrics to something like grafana.

Additional context

Something like prometheus should be fine. Metrics should be behind authentication.
