Ornitorrinco

Google Colab Amazon Web Services Databriks Apache Spark

It consists of a set of scripts aiming to extract, load, transform and visualize data about COVID-19, collected from Covid19API.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Have an AWS account, in hand with Amazon S3 and Amazon RDS credentials.
  • Have an Databricks account, community edition is enough.

Running

  1. Make a clone:
   git clone https://github.com/amintasvrp/ornitorrinco.git

  1. Run Extract and Load Notebook in Google Colab platform.

  2. Run Transform and Visualize Notebook in Databriks platform (needed to render graphics).

Contributing

Make a pull request and make clear what changes have been made and which bugs persist. Do not introduce bugs, be proactive!
