Describe your overall experience with the current DIRAC web application.

Our use of the Dirac WebApp is focus on the following points:

• Adminstration:
  • Modifying CS configuration
  • Monitoring and acting on services through SystemAdministrator
• Monitoring:
  • monitoring Productions, Transformations and Jobs as well as Pilots
  • if failure do some actions by hand on Transformations or Jobs

Are there any features or functionalities you wish were included in the current web application?

• Administration:
  • CS: add an entire configuration section is actually not possible through the web app, could be helpfull.
  • SysAdm: the monitoring of services/agents is not really ergonomic, could be usefull to have some kind of "board" with a meteo of the services/agents/etc. for the admins
• Monitoring:
  • an easier search criteria
  • being able to get the associated Jobs to a Transformations and assicoated Transformation to a Production
  • manual selection only page by page
  • link a job search to a Kibana dashboards, is this possible?

How do you feel about the current user interface and design? What changes, if any, would you suggest?

• the general design of the current web app is really oldish, a modern style would be pleasant: the current new version of Gitlab is from my point of view really nice
• each different menus opened are pinned automatically, I would suggest to do the inverse: the user should choose which menus he want pinned, to be easily accessible when connecting
• don't use pop up when opening logs or sandboxes, and when closing tabs. I would prefere either an icone to directly download them or opening a new tab to display it.
• On the main page we don't see any informations on the current account with which we are connected, I would suggest to show at least the username and group. Which could also be clickable to easily change group.

Have you ever used the DIRAC web application on mobile devices? Would a mobile-friendly version be beneficial for you?

• No, I never used it on mobile device
• It is off course nice to have a mobile interface, but it would be secondary for my usage.

Are you using a DIRAC web application extension? What do you have in it?

No we don't have WebApp extensions.

Is there anything else you would like to share or suggest as we work on the diracx-web application?
