PEP639 -- https://peps.python.org/pep-0639
!!! PEP IS provisionally accepted
as soon as it might be approved: enable support for PEP639 per default. -- it is currently disabled, unless explicitly enabled via CLI flag --PEP-639

as soon as this is enabled, we might even drop the switch, there is no reason to disable the feature, after the PEP is accepted
