CRviz needs a general"processing" indicator of some sort to be displayed during longer running actions.

An activity indicator would let users know that there is an ongoing task rather than the UI going non-responsive

Explain how this feature supports your use case? Other use cases?

Studies have shown that users actually perceive actions taken with an activity indicator as being faster than those without one, even when the action that did have the indicator takes longer.
