For a while now, I have been having an issue where when suspend tries to trigger, it crashes. This only occurs with gtk-session-lock based lockscreens. Swaylock and Hyprlock work fine. So it safe to say it is gtk-session-lock that is the issue as it is the common denominator between the two lockscreens that are causing things to crash.
I would provide logs, but they provide little to no information. All they say is that the suspend service failed to freeze a process, but doesn't say why or what. I had to do trial and error to find it.
It is simple to reproduce:
Set a gtk-session-lock based lockscreen (gtklock or AGS lockscreen) in idle service.
initiate systemctl suspend
100% of the time I do this, the system crashes/freezes into an unusable state and requires hard shutdown to recover.
