Install Documentation

This documentation is intended to assist end-users and service providers both with setting up and using the Espers client for themselves. In this document there are per-OS based instructions below which will guide you through installing and running Espers on your operating system. Please follow along the instructions below according to what operating system you are using.

Microsoft Windows

  • Download and Run (Recommended) See latest releases for the latest pre-built binaries which you can simply run as apposed to having to build/compile them yourself.

  • Build Espers Qt See doc/build-msw-qt.md for instructions on- building Espers QT using the Microsoft Windows operating system. The intended-for-end-users, nice-graphical-interface, reference implementation of Espers.

  • Build Espers Daemon See doc/build-msw.md for instructions on building Espersd using the Microsoft Windows operating system. This is the- intended-for-services, no-graphical-interface, reference implementation of Espers.

Apple Mac OS

  • Download and Run (Recommended) See latest releases for the latest pre-built binaries which you can simply run as apposed- to having to build/compile them yourself.

Linux/Unix
