@nardegx did you power down and reboot the printer after turning on root access? It's not in the instructions, but it is required. Then it should work with the credentials that they provide.

Another thing which I noticed which got me. I think my IP changed after an update or after root access. I don't have a static IP set on my router currently. The IP remains the same, except after a factory reset and possibly updates or root access. Double check the IP in the network tab on the printer.
I followed the exactly the instructions to get the root access. No connection with the Ip through the application Putty or WinSCP.
