Survey If you are a CDR stakeholder, we want to hear about your experience finding and using CDR guidance. The ACCC has released a survey for businesses and individuals who are holder or receivers of CDR data, or who provide services to these parties. This includes, for example, data holders, accredited persons, CDR representatives and third-party service providers. Your response will help us assess the effectiveness of CDR guidance and identify potential areas for improvement. The survey is available on the ACCC website and will remain open until 25 March 2024.

Ticket # Question Answer
2294 I am looking into your API to find a list of all energy plans available to users across Australia in an attempt to do some comparisons between which plans suit users the best. I have found an article on the FAQ page of the Energy Made Easy site (https://www.energymadeeasy.gov.au/frequently-asked-questions/how-can-i-get-access-to-the-energy-made-easy-plan-data), which seems to imply that the data available through the CDR is not the same as the data available through Energy Made Easy, is my understanding correct, and if so can you explain how it is different in more detail? I believe the article is clarifying that the plan data available via CDR is not in the same format as EME use for their internal operations, which is how they use it to provide plan comparison to consumers.
They also provided the generic plan data via CDR as defined by the CDR specifications.
2298 I was looking through the Telco specification. It seems that the 'TelcoAccountDetailResponseData' Schema is a combination of the three schemas "#/components/schemas/TelcoAccountBase" "#/components/schemas/TelcoAccount" "#/components/schemas/TelcoAccountDetail" This leads to multiple 'properties' called 'plans' What is supposed to be done in this case?
I could not find the answer to this question in the documentation.
Thanks for sending this through, it appears there may be an error in the TelcoAccountDetailResponseData schema. At first glance it seems that TelcoAccount should not be included at that level. If you'd like to raise this as an issue in the Standards Maintenance repository, it will be reviewed and an update may be made at the next opportunity.

Update: Standards Maintenance Issue 634
2299 Looking at the EnergyPlanContractV2 schemas (https://consumerdatastandardsaustralia.github.io/standards/#cdr-energy-api_schemas_tocSenergyplancontractv2) and specifically the TerrifPeriod (https://consumerdatastandardsaustralia.github.io/standards/#cdr-energy-api_schemas_tocSenergyplantariffperiod_
We have a handful of cases where customers are on stepped daily supply charges with an otherwise fixed rate tariff (e.g. for the first 20kWh/day they pay $0.5/day, 20-40KwH at $0.7/day, etc)
As it stands we cannot see a way to represent this in the schema and are unclear how to proceed.
Are you able to advise?
This specific issue is being discussed in current the MI - https://github.com/ConsumerDataStandardsAustralia/standards-maintenance/issues/627. It was raised by Ergon energy as being something unique to QLD but it seems to not be the case based on your query.
The CR has some proposed solutions. Your review/feedback on the thread would be very helpful.

Any Other Business

7ImpCallHeaders Attendees are invited to raise topics related to the Consumer Data Right that would benefit from the DSB and ACCCs' consideration.
