Error parsing SVGs with exponents #6

Loading

Plain inkscape svgs save with really small values as exponents. Like 1e-5. The parser fails to read these and throws an error.

coordinate = float(item.strip())
                 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
ValueError: could not convert string to float: '-1e'
