daily job to look for new excel file
benchmark current data vs new file
- dump stats of current data
- load file
- dump stats with new data
create pull request with benchmark

Some sanity checking metrics:

Most pricing changes are within, say, 10%. Some outliers allowed.
some threshold for expected removals, expected additions, expected changes. Catch a case of e.g. everything being removed or replaced due to a format change or something
