cant craft

hey i just installed it and i cannot craft anything can you please help

Blame Mojang and vote https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-117105 here.

Try pressing shift + left click the item in the crafting book to craft (not the blocked red crafting slot).

Otherwise get an older version of the game, which isn't bugged.

• Open the Launcher
• Press the button next to the text "Default"
• Press the Selected version
• choose 1.16.201

Why do you see such a broken version? Thats why.

Blow the dust off your raspberry Pi and play on it or start a vm with arm Debian and run the appimage there, as, the arm version doesn't have the creating issue...

In addition to Shift+Left Click, you can also Right Click to craft a single item (tried it and it works):

Haven't found a way to combine durability of tools, though (except other players being nice enough to do it for me).
