In my opinion it's much better to be able override that TC0P easily .. ex istat cpu set TC0D

I think what you're asking for is the ability to set which sensor is shown in response to the istat cpu invocation?

That could help #32

It could also satisfy #95, though wouldn't be a perfect solution.
