This includes:

  • Allow a way to configure hard fork: next_fork_version, next_fork_epoch ...
  • At epoch boundary we update the state.fork accordingly
  • Unsubscribe to gossip topics, calculate and subscribe to new gossip topics due to fork_digest changed. Same thing for attestation subnet subscription.
  • Update ENR

Item 1), 2), 4) are implemented in #843 , 3rd should be done in #824
