@bagnell @kristiancalhoun what is the plan for this pull request? It has been open for a really long time. Is it still relevant? Is it a general change that is useful to Cesium? Perhaps we remove the pull request and just keep the code on the separate branch for a while until we decide to do more work with the VWF?

I'm fine with removing this pull request. Eventually I would like to find a way to handle the camera synchronization without relying on mouse movements as this version does, so then this code would be irrelevant.

In related VWF news, I made Lockheed's recommended changes to the Cesium VWF demo pull request last week, which is still waiting to be merged. They were also interested in having the viewer functionality eventually added to the demo, so it may be better to start fresh with the new Cesium widget when that time comes.
