"Auto Focus Recipe Search" causes game to crash, alters UI

For the past few weeks, I've been dealing with this issue. When using "Search for Item by Crafting Method" for a recipe, the game will freeze up, and then crash. This happens a lot more frequently if I'm working on my FC submarine and in the Fabrication Station, but has happened when looking up basic recipes like "Iron Nails" or "Walnut Lumber" in the overworld. Dalamud was able to inform me that it was an error with the SimpleTweaks plugin, so I went through and deselected this option, figuring that the issue was centered on the search bar. Thus far, it seems stable, which is what leads me to believe that this issue is with this specific function.

Another annoying subissue of this issue is that when it does crash, it alters my HUD for some reason? All inactive hotbars turn on, and all active HUD elements (LB Bar, Minimap, HB 1-3, Gil) all get switched to the "off" state as well on the HUD display I'm currently on.
