Bring back dimension averaging

Describe the solution you'd like
The old vcdat use to have a pull down button next to each dimension slider to let user decide if the dimension should be brought back in "as is" or averaged. The options were: "def" (asis) "avg" (averaged) wgt (weighted avergae - by the bounds values-) "std" (standard deviation over that axis)
