Fixed Talk-to-ChatGPT to work again #246
Comments
I appears the chrome extension webpage for "Talk-to-ChatGPT" was taken down for the time being. Hopefully by the author and not for another reason. In the meantime, does anyone have the extension in the place that can be downloaded manually? |
uhh I tried it and I saw the link was already to the current chatgpt.com so i installed and it didn't worked I tried changing to to older one and then writing without https and 3-4 more different ways and coming back to original but still didn't worked :( |

This was working until GPT4o update. |
Hello everyone, With both of them that's all :-) |
thanks for your help, keep us posted |
Hey All,
I found out how to get it working again.
Yoiu'll need to uninstall it and download the chrome-extension zip to manually reinstall.
Before you do that though, unzip the file then open manifest.json in notepad.
Find the line where it is looking for the match to the website and change the text from chat.openai.com to chatgpt.com
Then go to chrome, manage extension,s make sure dev mode is enabled on the right, then unpack and install the progam from the unzipped directory, viola. Fixed
