SendEmail server action not returning values to contact form

I see in the server console the data and error values are assigned but I cannot get any values returned to the contact component. I have copied the code from this repo for actions\sendEmail.ts, lib\utils.ts, email\contact-form-email.tsx, and components\contact.tsx to rule out my typos.

I have searched and am not finding anything to point me to a resolution.
