Collapsing left panel & title in editing mode

I have a small screen (13 inches) and I use a zooming factor of 110% on Chrome OS to use Boost Note. The left panel takes a lot of space. If I could collapse it I would have more space for editing & previewing.

In addition, when I preview mode, the note title collapses when I scroll down, but not in edit mode and not in edit & preview mode. Could the title panel collapses in all the different views?

These are 2 different issues but they both relate to regain some screen space for editing on small screens.

I'll see what I can do for edit title one, but for left pane, it should be able to collapse but not completely, did you try moving it left from its right border?

Also, did you try F11, aka full screen mode in browser to gain more space?

I can slide it, but I cannot collapse it. Ideally I would like to have a shortcut to collapse it on/off to speed up editing & file management. On a large screen that's less of an annoyance, but on a notebook it is. Sliding (a pane) is great for legibility, while collapsing it is great for text editing. Yes, I did but F11 is a browser function, there is little gain.

Thank you for the title. The preview mode is neat. When I could not get it to work in Edit mode and in Edit & Preview mode, I was thinking that it was either in developpement, or a bug.

Yeah the title stays on top in those modes, I'll see if we could change that as well.

The collapse is already implemented, see:

Once release comes out of course.

There are no shortcuts still, I think we should soon introduce the keymap feature so users can change and adjust their own preferences for common actions.

Added in the new release, you can also hide/show it using a shortcut. please see release notes for more info: #1209

@Komediruzecki I shouldn't have created a feature request for two different issues (although related). Since the left panel issue has been fixed. Can I open a new feature request for the title window taking up a lot of space in Edit and Edit & Preview modes, and close this discussion?
