biometrics not working for logging into wallet

Steps to reproduce

open app
tap on wallet to open
app asks for biometrics fingerprint
fingerprint doesn't work
window pops up that says user authentication, you have to authenticate to unlock your device
I put in phone pin
same user authentication window pops up again
have to tap cancel
enter wallet pin to enter wallet
wallet opens

Expected behaviour

fingerprint opens my wallet
