'permission denied' when trying to upload files using #39

When trying to upload files / create directories with FileZilla or Mountain Duck, getting a permission denied error. Am able to make the connection in the first place, just no writing allowed

I think writing to /scratch does work. You could try that, otherwise let me know.

Writing to scratch indeed works, do you guys intend to fix the permissions on the home directories should I close the issue and change the docs to say only scratch works?

It's definitely a bug so we can keep it open and you can use the /scratch workaround for now.
