Where do you set zone handlers

Hi there, pretty interested to integrate my existing dns handling over to Gravity, however im hitting an issue when following the docs, theres no statement where the zone handlers are actually set, ive checked all over the front end and navigated around the directories a little but can not see anything that is about zone handlers. Can anyone just give some support?
