I have tried to use a geman CSL style. Actually one of the most common ones:
https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/kolner-zeitschrift-fur-soziologie-und-sozialpsychologie.csl

There seem to be no correct use of CSL locales. The reference reads "(Seidl 2016, p. 2)" instead of "(Seidl 2016, S.2)"

Excuse me. Could you please give me the citation (i.e. bibtex) you used?

It doesn't matter which citation you use.

Just:

  1. cite something and enter a page number in the table.
  2. Use the cls referred to

Then it says "(allen501pc, 2016, p. 1)" instead of "(allen501pc, 2016, S. 1)".

Are you getting different results?
