transmission-tailscale Drone Build/Push to dockerhub

I created this to run transmission on a remote host but directly feed my NAS via NFS. As of right now, it only works on amd64.

FEATURES:

  • Use an Exit Node

    • An exit node on tailscale effective lets you "place shift". Your IP address will be that of the exit node to all outside services.
  • Auto Pause Transmission on NFS disconnect

    • Transmission will pause all downloads when NFS disconnects
      • For this to function properly, create a file named MOUNTED in the base NFS directory.
  • Auto Pause Transmission on Tailscale disconnect

    • Transmission will pause all downloads when tailscale goes down
      • Since we are mounting our NFS via tailscale, pause all downloads if tailscale goes down This way it's not filling up the remote drive

Weekly Builds

I have this set to build weekly as its based on linuxserver/transmission. I want it to keep up to date with upstream.

docker-compose:

version: "2.4"
services:
  transmission-tailscale:
    image: beardedtek/transmission-tailscale:latest
    volumes:
      - /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock
      - ./tailscale:/var/lib/tailscale
      - /dev/net/tun:/dev/net/tun
