It just looks like a really dark area in both versions of your screenshot to me.

If you look carefully at the first picture, you will see a black square where the sword is pointing.

In the second picture, there is only the shaded cliff face.

Perhaps it is worth opening the picture to see a larger image - it seems very clear to me.

Hope this helps.

That's a model not loading at all. Is there anything in the log files?

Sorry, I have finished the game and deleted all the save games so cannot send you any log files.

I had reverted to 11 (also found that there were intermittent freezes that were handled better on 11 than 12), but will update to 12 again and see if anything shows up on the current game I am playing.

Also, I don't know whether this is relevant, but I use the Beamdog Client for 11 and the Steam executable and data files for 12. I use NIT to start Steam's nwmain.exe without using a Steam Shortcut (ie should only be using the files without any of Steam's plugins).

Apologies for all the posts, but wanted to give you as much info as possible.

I have reverted to 11 again - too many problems. I am playing Island Adventures 2 - The Color of Light and found that the bird animation in Firbolg's Arcane Sundries does not work on 12, but does on 11.

What do you mean by bird animation? I just tried it on 37-12 and the pseudodragon(if you mean that by bird, appears to animate properly)

Something strange is going on - the pseudodragon does not animate when I use 12, but does when I use 11.

Could it have anything to do with how the Steam installation behaves compared to Beamdog's? I suppose the only way for me to test it would be if 12 was available via Beamdog.
