An entry showing possibilities for UI selection views:

0-1 selection
default, immutable selection
x-y immutable selection ("collective")
x-y varying selection (not collective)

Profiles, rules - both inline and linked/shared variety.

Categories, selection entries both shared and linked, and same with groups.
