If the tenant already has a MG hierarchy that isn’t exactly as Azure Landing Zone?

Hi everyone,

I am new to EPAC and are looking in to if EPAC can be something for us.
We has deployed an Azure Infrastructure according to CAF with Hub and Spoke design but with our own MG hierarchy. The whole infrastructure is deployed via IaC and Azure DevOps pipelines.
We are looking into if we shall use EPAC to be part of our pipelines for deploying Azure Policies.

Which files shall be adjusted if the tenant already has a MG hierarchy that isn’t exactly as Azure Landing Zone (ALZ), and you will not use ALZ at all?

If you already deployed Policies with ALZ: Use Export-AzPolicyResources. This will give you an exact replica of your environment in EPAC format.

If not, we have scripts to import the ALZ Policies and you can aligment them with your own.

EPAC can address any hierarchy if you have a single root per tenant for the Policy/Initiative definitions.
