First step towards making Zeromorph work with both IPA and KZG, this PR ensures that Zeromorph calls a univariate PCS building block for the opening proof and verification, right now only instantiated with KZG.

Benchmark results

Metrics with a significant change:

  • note_successful_decrypting_time_in_ms (32): 566 (+17%)
Detailed results

All benchmarks are run on txs on the Benchmarking contract on the repository. Each tx consists of a batch call to create_note and increment_balance, which guarantees that each tx has a private call, a nested private call, a public call, and a nested public call, as well as an emitted private note, an unencrypted log, and public storage read and write.

This benchmark source data is available in JSON format on S3 here.

Values are compared against data from master at commit 199e9185 and shown if the difference exceeds 1%.

my attempt at starting to unify interfaces for Zeromorph, IPA verifier will also call reduce_verify in a subsequent PR and return a VerifierAccumulator that for now is set to bool (we always perform the full IPA verification) until we have the IPA Accumulators implemented

yeah, I suppose, didn't want to mess with the code, just kind of changed the commented stuff to compile

any reason you removed some of the details from this comment? I think it can't hurt to have

oh, just because the quotient is going to be computed in KZG and it might not even be a quotient (i.e. in IPA it's not )

added what will happen if we instantiate zeromorph with kzg so we can keep the details

I thought this explanation of the meaning of the pairing inputs was helpful, no? Can we find a way to keep it?
