Keep in mind that the template pulls some of it's content using page and category IDs. If that remains the same (with the idea that new code should be able to work underneath current functions), then testing in a sandbox may require pulling a copy of the database and moving files as opposed to an export/import.

@boywondercreative I've got an AWS machine I can open up to help with that, if needed, that already has a clone of the database.
