When using the 'delay' feature in assignments...

When using the 'delay' feature in assignments, I would expect you simply tap a button and then there's to be a delay of x seconds before the following input is carried out. What seems to happen is that you need to hold the button down before the next input is carried out.

I've searched in issues and in the program, but I can't find any option where you, say, tap a button and then 5 seconds later an input is carried out.
