I am playing games on my laptop by using a PS4 controller. Most of my games have native PS4 controller support so I am able to use my controller in those games. Some games don't have native PS4 controller support so I need to find a way to make those games recognize my controller. I played a game which doesn't have native PS4 controller support in Steam by using Steam input and I got double input in the game when I pressed the confirm button on the controller. After that I played the game outside of Steam by using my Bluetooth keyboard and also I got double input when I pressed the confirm button on my keyboard.
I am suspecting that I got double input because of a game bug because I got double input on both of my controller and on the Bluetooth keyboard. Also, there is a small chance that Steam input caused the double input when I was playing the game in Steam by using my controller. Steam input has to emulate the PS4 controller into an Xbox controller and it has to hide the PS4 controller from the game and it could have screwed up something while doing that.
I want to play games that don't have native PS4 controller support by using AntiMicroX so I can map controller buttons to keyboard buttons. I want to ask is that safe and it won't cause double input?
