Not Registering Interstellar Space

So I am having an issue with the latest version of Blueshift where the drive never switches to interstellar space / the game still thinks I have a periapsis with the Kerbol system. I am aware that the periapsis with the Kerbol system is probably causing this issue but would also like to know if it could be an issue with the way the mod applies warp effects.

Just curious to what it issue could be? (I am suspecting it has something to do with the KSP mechanics suggesting I still have an encounter with the Kerbol system, even though I am warping in the direct opposite of the direction of the escape. I also have KSP-IE installed if this could be the cause of an incompatibility.)
