As stated in webpack-contrib/stylelint-webpack-plugin#95 there's currently an issue with .sass syntax (Unwanted CssSyntaxError - Missed Semicolon), will switch to use the plugin once resolved.

Branch started - will merge and release once the required stylelint features are available in a stable release.
