Every registered GH user has edit rights currently, but I didn't expect that to include full deletion rights, too. @AndersMalmgren perhaps you can restore the page from there and disable wiki write access for non-contributors? Not sure how often this happens though, and with no way to create PRs for the wiki that might not be worth it.
