Need to modify the behavior of the camera when following an object during animation. #531

Right now, if I am zoomed to an object like a satellite, the camera seems to rotate around the object during animation. I'd like the camera to stay fixed in relation to that object.

I'm not camera expert, but I'm guessing what you actually want is for the camera to be in VVLH (Vehicle Velocity Local Horizontal) and not actually fixed.

I have a spinning satellite. When I'm tracking it in:

VVLH - my view stays consistent with the objects position, but not it's orientation. I see the object spinning in front of me, but I'm stationary relative to the object position.

Fixed - my view is locked to the objects position and orientation. Instead of seeing the object spinning, it looks fixed and everything else in the universe is spinning (probably leading to some headaches and upset stomachs).

There are use cases where you want the later, but we should definitely change the "default view" to the former.

VVLH is what I'm looking for then. Having the ability to switch between the default to either of the options you mention would be great.
