The game plays the intro cinematics only with sound (and a black screen) with WineD3D, and works just fine after that, but outright crashes on execution with d8vk.

P.S.: When playing back the trace, I get this warning in the d3d8.log file:

warn: D3D8 Application is windowed yet requested FullScreen_PresentationInterval 2147483648 (should be D3DPRESENT_INTERVAL_DEFAULT). This will be ignored.
