recording1 and 2 are just sorted individually:

either concatenation behavior in the pipeline isn't working as expected, and we can resort when it is, or we need to be able to handle multiple individual recordings

this wasn't actually run with concat=True.. lost track with so many retries.

This should be fixed with the recent update to the sorting pipeline (v0.2.0)
