Description

Cannot install napari-allencell-segmenter through the napari plugin menu.

Error message

Looking for: ['napari-allencell-segmenter']


Pinned packages:
  - python 3.8.*
  - napari 0.4.17.*


Encountered problems while solving:
  - package python-3.8.13-hcf16a7b_0_cpython requires openssl >=3.0.2,<4.0a0, but none of the providers can be installed

Expected Behavior

Installation proceeds without error, or gives clear steps on how to proceed.

Reproduction

  1. Open Napari -> Plugins -> Install/Uninstall Plugins
  2. Find napari-allencell-segmenter, and click Install

Environment

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Python version (ex. 3.8): 3.8.13
  • napari version (ex. 0.4.1): 0.4.17rc3.dev1+g4f200dfa
  • How did you install the napari viewer (as a bundled app or through command line with pip)?: conda-forge

Tried on a different Windows machine and I have a similar error:

Looking for: ['napari-allencell-segmenter']

Pinned packages:

  • python 3.8.*
  • napari 0.4.17.*

Encountered problems while solving:

  • package napari-allencell-segmenter-1.1.4-pyhd8ed1ab_0 requires python >=3.7, but none of the providers can be installed

For the above, I downloaded the release bundle from https://github.com/napari/napari/releases/tag/v0.4.17
