The normal diagram does not work

Hello, with the current code the simpler diagram does not work. If I connect the vcc and ground to the normal Vcc and ground of the arduino then it works. The problem is that it does not "sleep", but at least works.

Any updates on this? when it starts the servo starts moving to one side a few times and stops, I changed the ground as well and same thing, It didn't work for me yet.
