Describe the bug
Patched versions of games are not able to bypass AP checks on real hardware
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Patch a clean rom with your changes
put the rom on a 3ds
any event, like a trainer battle or story queue will redscreen of death your game
or
patch a rom that has had AP fix applied
put rom on 3ds
game still crashes
Expected behavior
the game works on both emulator and real hardware. here the 3ds via twilightmenu does not
System:
Operating System: windows 10 home
Java Version: version 8 update 411
Randomizer Version: 4.6.0
Additional context
The twilightmenu++ Dev thinks that the UPR adding the AP fix to the game after patching is messing this up. modern launchers apply AP fix to the game but the game is not recognized since it has already been patch or due to the randomization. a method to not apply AP fix at the end would be great, playing this on emu is a garbage experience compared to an actual ds
