New window creation breaks after a while, breaks history #68

Sometimes when I close a window it messes up state somewhere in electron.

Any new windows have a blank view for the web contents.

Not sure how to reproduce consistantly but it might be related to windows created from links.

This also breaks saving window history on close, which is annoying.
