inter_iit_uav_fleet

This repository contains the codes used to solve the DRDO SASE's UAV Fleet Challenge, a high prep event held in the Inter-IIT Techmeet 8.0.

Problem Statement

The problem statement involved developing UAV fleet that can fly outdoors autonomously over a grassy land. The teams were required to spot a target amongst a clutter of different objects spread randomly over the grassy land and subsequently communicate the location of the target to their remaining two drones using swarm technology only.

Some details for the competition were as follows:

  • The targets were 5 cuboids of 15cm x 15cm x 15cm of green colour

  • Multirotor UAVs are supposed to be developed

  • Minimum three and maximum of four UAVs are to be developed
